Product Vision
Rich Well is a family retail business in Horana, Sri Lanka. It sells beauty and cosmetics, fancy goods and gifts, and runs Iqra Books, the bookshop where the business began.
The brief was to move a well-loved local shop online without losing what makes it work: trust in genuine products, WhatsApp-first ordering, cash on delivery, and customers who read English, Sinhala or Tamil.
- Who it's for: The owners; shoppers anywhere on the island, who order without creating an account; and the staff, who run catalogue, stock, orders and finances from one admin panel.
- Success looked like: A store that feels like a premium beauty brand, a checkout people trust, and a back office the owners actually use.
The Pitch
Rich Well is a beauty-and-gifts brand site and a complete commerce back office in one system. Customers can pick shades, apply codes, and add gift wrap effortlessly. The staff can run products, stock, coupons, reviews, orders, and profit tracking all from a single admin panel.
The bar was to make a neighbourhood shop sell like a national beauty brand.
